N. Rock Erekson
CEO
N. Rock Erekson is the CEO of Pavilion Services; a St. Louis based Management Services and Consulting Organization. Pavilion Services was created in late 2010 as a spin-off of the central services staff of Metro Heart Group of St. Louis (MHG). Pavilion Healthcare Services is now a provider of services to Hospitals and Physician Groups nationwide.
Graduating in 1978 with a BS in Business, Rock entered the health care work force as an assistant administrator of a multi-specialty physician group, the Budge Clinic, which is now affiliated with Intermountain Healthcare in northern Utah. After completing his MBA at Utah State University in 1985, he accepted the position of Executive Director of University Surgical Associates, and while in Louisville directed formation of University Cardiothoracic Surgical Associates and University Pediatric Surgical Associates, the physician private practices of the Department of Surgery at University of Louisville Medical School in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1994 he relocated to Utah as the Director of Professional Services for the state of Utah with HealthTrust and subsequently Columbia, HCA.
As the Executive Director of Metro Heart Group of St. Louis, a 38 physician cardiology group, he has served in this position since January 1996. With the myriad of changes and challenges facing private practices today, he has taken an active leadership role both nationally and within the St. Louis metropolitan healthcare market including his participation with MedAxiom, Cardiology Advocacy Alliance and the Medical Group Management Association.
