Handlooms are something that has the word hand in it yet handloom workers are the people with the least amount of hand in the profit. We at PBHaat simply set out to change that, our goal is to sell the products and the handloom works from the maker to the user i.e., the customer. We believe that textile workers are artists but over the years many of these artists and their art just vanished because of poor exposure and therefore we have made it our mission at PBHaat to work with these incredible handloom workers and promote their work to the world. What's even more incredible is that some of these looms and textile styles go back hundreds of years and have remained unchanged and are still being practised in little hamlets and we simply bring them to the worlds attention. So we not only preserve and promote these incredible works of handloom and cut out the middlemen so that you get your products at the most reasonable price possible but we also document and try to do some historical tracing behind these handloom styles. Some of these handlooms by created by indigenous communities who use no foreign materials but whatever is in their vicinity to create these handlooms. Our motive is to give these people the exposure and platform to showcase their talent that they always deserved but never got.
