Introduction
Parota Tours & Safaris is a Tanzania based safari company that arranges safaris, Beaches holidays, city tour and climbing expeditions in Tanzania and East Africa. We specialize in Kilimanjaro climbing expeditions and in combination safari tours that give you the opportunity to visit several of Tanzania beautiful national parks and get the most intense travel experience in the time available to you.
But our primary goal is to help you realize your plans in Tanzania whatever they are. Tours, parks, trekking, climbing, porters, guides, transportation, accommodation. We will answer your questions, and put your plans on track.
Customer service is our number one priority. All of our Naturalists and Guides have spent lifetimes traversing the bush and national parks of Tanzania and East Africa. Having years studying the flora, fauna and wildlife in schools with constant training and retraining, they know by instinct what it is you can be assured that our guides will do everything possible to make your safari Memorable of your lifetime.
Boat and flight tickets:
At Parota Tours & Safaris, we offer our customers both boat and flight tickets from Dar Es Salaam to Zanzibar and from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam, at a reasonable price of 35USD One way and 70USD Return by boat. 70USD One way and 140USD Return, by plane.
We also offer flight tickets for domestic and international trips.
Zanzibar excursion:
We provide our customers with a tour of Zanzibar inclusive of city tour, spice tour and diving so as to guarantee an entertaining and knowledgeable experience.
Tour foil parks in Tanzania:
Horton Safaris offers safari tours in the national parks found in the northern and southern circuit of Tanzania. The northern circuit includes: Kilimanjaro Mountain, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro National Park, Tarangire National Park, Manyara National Park. And the southern circuit includes: Mikumi National Park, Udzungwa Mountain, Seloue Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park and Sadan National Park.
Camping and Lodging:
Our customers are provided accommodation through camping, lodging and bandas at a reasonable price. Lodge and bandas are provided in the Southern circuit, as well as camping and lodging in the northern circuit.

We offer a range of ground transportation services. Clients may option for sightseeing tours, private transfers, executive chauffeur service or day trips as well as car rentals. For visitors seeking a flexible, varied holiday that allows them to see all Tanzania, we offer Fly/Drive Tanzania, a unique vacation package with attractive rates that include a choice of accommodations and a rented car.
Driving License:
A FULL driving license MUST have been held for at least 12 months and must be produced at time of rental.
Age:
Drivers, 22-65 years, standard conditions apply (21 and 65 -70 year old drivers accepted subject to special conditions and/or insurance approval).
Extension of Rental:
In most cases this is available, provided that our renting office is informed prior to expiry of the agreed rental period (as shown on the rental agreement) and the additional deposit is paid, so that insurance cover may be extended. Failure to do so may mean that you continue driving without the necessary insurance cover.
Insurance:
All cars are comprehensive covered.
Rates:
All rates exclude fuel charges and VAT. Daily rates are based on a 24 hour cycle.
Availability
The booking is made on the understanding that the vehicle will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should this not be possible, through circumstances beyond our control, we will provide, a substitute vehicle, where possible, or a full refund of monies.
Fuel
Tanks are supplied on an empty basis. No credit will be given on unused fuel.

Patrick Tarimo
Manager
Patrick Tarimo was born and raised at the foot of the Kilimanjaro Mountains, went to Kifufuu primary school and Makiidi Secondary School. He went to Tourism College in Dar es Salaam for two years, From there he began to learn all about the tourism trade and has since then worked with several tour companies such as Safari planners and adventure ltd, Horton safaris zawiya tours & safaris and many more before starting his own safari company, Parota, Meas Patrick Robart Tarimo.
