Our Kids Early Learning Centre

Our Kids Early Learning is a child care centre founded by Anita Kumar in 2008. The centre is passionate about helping kids obtain quality early childhood education through creating an environment that promotes intimate community relationships. Further, the child care centre also uses New Zealand’s Te Whariki curriculum, applies the principles of Pikler and RIE philosophies, and support children’s play, all of which contribute to the process of learning where children’s imagination, wonder, and discovery could foster.

Creating a safe and comfortable environment, Our Kids Early Learning daycare in West Auckland is not a typical day care centre. The centre offers mixed age groupings wherein they cater to children aged six months through to five years. This approach allows the kids to learn from each other’s abilities as they participate in more unique activities than they would on their own or in groups of their own age.

The centre believes that children are born to self-educate given the right tools and learning environments, embodying active listening as their philosophy. Our Kids Early Learning Centre nurtures an inclusive environment where kids are exposed to a secure space knowing their voice is heard and their presence are valued and where they can build authentic and trusting relationships as they become aware of their interests and develop their creativity.
