Introduction
Othello's first opened in 2000 but has been completely transformed by new owners Gerry and Maria who took over in 2004.
Gerry was voted the northwest's best Greek chef in Your Move magazine in 2005.
In 2006 the restaurant was completely refurbished, marrying classic Greek decor with a modern, airy and comfortable feel. Boasting an extensive A La Carte menu which includes a wide variety of meat, fresh fish and vegetarian dishes.
Gerry has been a Chef in Liverpool for the past 20 years, but many people may remember the couple being integral to the success of Akis Greek Taverna a popular Restaurant in Lark Lane where they both worked for over ten years.
The couple left Akis in May 2003, and decided to open their own Restaurant. Othello's is now becoming a big success due to the very high standards of food, service and the warm and friendly atmosphere, that's why our customers don't only visit once they return time and time again.
No loud music, no Greek dancing and definitely no plate smashing, just traditional Greek music playing in the background, so why not come and enjoy the experience for yourself.
