Anne Bradley
Managing Director
As the Managing Director and founder of this busy and successful practice, Anne takes overall managerial control of all aspects of the Firm as well as running a caseload of select clients. With years of experience in the field of personal injury gained from working as a partner in other large and successful firms together with holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Personal Injury Litigation; she has acquired a vast knowledge and expertise in this field of law. When not guiding the Firm to greater success, Anne enjoys yoga, fitness training and spending time with her family.
Jayne Hart
Corporate/Commercial legal services
Jayne joined Orbis Solicitors towards the end of 2012 to head up its Corporate/Commercial legal services offering. Jayne has over 11 years’ experience dealing with transactional matters, and specialises in share and business sales and purchases and company reorganisations. Jayne also offers advice on all aspects of company law and shareholder and partnership matters. She also deals with all types of commercial contracts and banking and finance agreements. Outside of work Jayne is a qualified referee and officiates for West Yorkshire and Lancashire football leagues. She is also an Everton season-ticket holder.
Karl Rushton
Head of Personal Injury
Karl is Head of Personal Injury and has over 11 years of experience in his field. Karl has been specialising in Personal Injury Litigation for the past 5 years. Karl qualified as a Solicitor in 2004, He has an excellent track record with previous cases, with many clients stating he was very clear, and professional in dealing with their case. Karl often attends BOB Clubs to keep updated on the going ons with local businesses.
Mark Nolan
Head of Employment Law Department
Mark heads our employment law department and deals with all aspects of employment law, to a high specification, for both businesses and employees/workers, including both contentious and non-contentious employment issues. Mark qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has over 15 years litigation experience, gained in the criminal and civil courts and in the Employment Tribunal, having appeared in most of the Tribunals throughout England and Wales. Since 2001 Mark has practised employment law almost exclusively, having worked in London for seven years and latterly in Manchester City Centre.
Mark works hard for businesses, including a wide variety of well recognized organisations and SMEs, as well as advising individual private clients, specifically professionals, in particular solicitors, accountants and members of the medical profession, from senior clinicians and surgeons to NHS management staff.
Mark specialises in discrimination, unfair dismissal law and whistleblowing cases. Mark is also widely experienced in negotiating the settlement of compromise agreements of high value and complexity, as well as acting for businesses facing unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, or when needing operational change or restructure.
Mark combines his experience with a down to earth approach in understandable language, to achieve results as a highly effective and tenacious negotiator and litigator. Mark also understands that litigation is a last resort and a pragmatic but firm approach can be just as effective, whether working for business or individual employees.

Steven Hulme
Practice Manager
Steven is the Practice Manager. His role includes financial and budgetary control, IT, strategic planning, training and mentoring staff and helping to ensure the smooth running of the practice to deliver excellent customer service to all of their client's whilst remaining a successful, forward thinking Law Firm. Steven is also one of the Senior Solicitors at Orbis dealing with his own caseload of complex, catastrophic and severe injury cases. Steven ensures that the most seriously injured victims of accidents and their families receive the best legal advice and professional support, tailored to their needs, before a final settlement is achieved providing the highest levels of compensation possible.
Outside the office, Steven is an accomplished motorcyclist who enjoys riding his Harley Davidson as often as possible. Steven also heads the specialist motorcycle department at Orbis Solicitors providing a professional, expert legal service to riders and their pillions who have been the victims of an accident and to help them secure maximum compensation awards.
