Introduction
The Old Town Inn is unique to the Islands being the only pub not in Hugh Town. It is situated just a couple minutes walk from Old Town Bay. Our ambition is to provide excellent service with a friendly smile.
The pub has a large main bar with pool table and darts board, a nicely furnished separate restaurant and a large function room catering for up to 150 seated or 200 standing. The open fire in the bar is always lit in the winter. We also have a courtyard with seating at the front of the pub and a lawned beer garden (the only one on the Island), situated behind the large car park, where you can enjoy a break, have an ice cold drink, pot of tea or a lunchtime snack.
We have live music nights once a month and the Islands Folk Club meet regularly throughout the year. We serve excellent traditional Sunday lunches all cooked fresh by the landlady and delicious cream teas during the day in the Summer.
We have a love of good food and will try to use locally produce as much as possible in the bar and bistro.
We have been members of CAMRA for years and like nothing more than a superb pint of real ale. We aim to always have Sharp's Doom Bar plus one other guest beer (varied regularly) on tap and will always have an Ales of Scily beer on in the Summer months.
