The Acorn (annexe) is a bright, airy room on the ground floor. This room has a double bed with en-suite facilities – ideal for couples and it is fully accessible and equipped for disabled guests.
All guests have access to a beautiful dining room/lounge and homely snug with a wood burner for those cold, winter months – ideal after exploring the breath-taking coastline of North Cornwall.
Begin the day enjoying the views whilst eating our "Award winning" breakfast, inside or ‘al fresco’ during warm weather. We offer a wide choice, including Full English, vegetarian; smoked haddock; continental or a lighter option. Local produce is used whenever possible with fresh eggs from our resident hens!
If required a packed lunch can be provided, at an extra cost.
Guests are welcome to relax in our garden and decking areas, with views across the historic town of Stratton and rolling countryside. To the front of the property there is ample off-road parking.
Oak Lodge is perfectly situated to discover all that North Cornwall and Devon have to offer, from the Moors to the Shores. The historic town of Stratton is within 5 minutes walking distance and is best explored on foot to be really appreciated. Its ancient church: narrow streets of quaint cottages and the local 15th century inn are well worth visiting- excellent meals and real ales are available at the local pubs.
Open all year, come and enjoy the North Cornwall Coast.
