Introduction
The New Leaf is Ealing Broadway's oldest Chinese Restaurant. Opened in 1972, the restaurant has established a solid reputation over the past thirty years through serving both the residents of Ealing and it's corporate customers.
Today the New Leaf continues to provide high quality food, service, ambience and an attention to detail that gives us the edge over our competitors. The constant effort to maintain the highest standards is one of the reasons for our continued success.
Our team of chefs draw on considerable experience from having trained in Hong Kong and having worked in London's Chinatown. This experience has resulted in extensive knowledge of catering for both Chinese and British palettes. In their day-to-day work they strive to achieve a careful balance between the two tastes.
The restaurant interior is striking in its design. Yet the extensive use of natural materials creates a warm, tranquil environment. Based heavily on an oriental theme, the design manages to avoid the ubiquitous dragons and lanterns approach. Instead it draws from other classical elements of oriental architecture whilst maintaining harmony in the simplicity of the style. The result is a clean, modern look, yet one which is so obviously oriental.
