Introduction
The Nene Whitewater Centre was the UK's first pumped artificial whitewater centre.
The centre's building has easily accessible changing and showering facilities and course training rooms if required.
The course itself is open to the public through a variety of different activities from training courses to parties, team building, coaching, tubing, rafting and more.
The centre can tailor courses and/or sessions to suit the needs of the individual or groups.
Courses and Activities available include - BCU 1, 2 &3 Star Courses.

- Rescue and Safety
- Kids Activity Days.
The Whitewater Course can be hired for an hour or up to 5.
Canoeing and kayaking kit is also available to hire per session or day.
Nene Whitewater Centre is home to several Northamptonshire water-sports clubs including the Northamptonshire Clubs for Young People (CYP), the Northampton Canoe and Kayak Club and the Northampton Rowing Club.
Function rooms are also available to hire for parties and conferences.
