Introduction
At NWI Chinchilla Rescue, we rescue and re-home chinchillas, as well as some other small animals and small furry exotics. When these animals are brought to the rescue, they are kept 30+ days for quarantine and evaluation, and if healthy and well-adjusted, are placed up for adoption. Potential adoptive homes are required to read our care packet and fill out an adoption form, in order to adopt.
In addition to having these animals for re-homing, we also have supplies and cages for sale. We sell both new and used cages, as well as many accessories to go with them. Choose from our wide selection of toys, hidey houses, hammocks, and much much more. We can be your one stop shop for your new pet -- we carry everything you could need from the food bowl to the cage. We have chinchilla specific items such as dust, dusting pans/houses, and glass water bottles, as well as other items that could go with any animal -- hay, pelleted food, toys, and much more. For pelleted food, we carry Mazuri Chinchilla Chow, Oxbow Cavy Cuisine, MannaPro PRO Rabbit Food, and Mazuri 6F Rodent Breeder (lab blocks). We also sell custom pine shelves.

Ashley Gajda
Founder/Manager
Ashley Gajda founded the rescue back in 2003. Since then, she has worked to keep the rescue open and funded. Due to a lack of volunteers, she pretty much does everything -- intakes, paperwork, adoptions, expos, you name it, she's done it. She is the backbone of the rescue.
