Introduction
We provide elegant bereavement pins worn by immediate family members at a wake and funeral to identify family members to sympathetic visitors. The distinction serves the surviving family as well as the sympathetic visitors. Families benefit from the increased number of people who can share comforting words and cherished memories. And visitors feel the value of their presence when they are able to express their condolences to the mourning family members.
The elegant pins, which also serve as treasured keepsakes, are offered in either black or white enamel in the shape of a cross or, as a non-denominational option, a circle. Both have a center image of a dove in flight and are presented on a card with the expressive poem, “It's My Time,†by poet Jacky Newcomb.
When we loose a loved one, we want the world to stop – but it doesn't.
We expect everyone to have heard of our loss – but they haven’t.
We grieve and try to get back to normality – but it’s difficult. Sometimes very difficult.
Wearing a bereavement pin is one way of remembering a loved one and is an outward expression of inner grief.
When we are grieving people want to support us. They want to show us they care. But often they don’t know. Wearing a bereavement pin is a respectful way of saying silently “I am grievingâ€. It is a way of expressing to others that you are not your usual self – that you are still mourning a loss.
The bereavement pins can also be worn as an outward expression of grief up to the months mind, anniversary mass and also on an on-going basis. .

We are a family business who as a result of our own experience having lost so many family members and experiencing the embarrassment of attending wakes and funerals and not being able to identify family members developed respectful Bereavement Pins for families to wear at wakes and funerals.
