Introduction
Moray Coast Cottages are a group of 4 holiday cottages ... all really close to the sea! Whether you are looking for accommodation in Lossiemouth, affectionately known as 'the jewel on the Moray Firth, Burghead, with it's Pictish fort site, jutting out into the bay, or in Sandend, a tiny, get-away-from-it-all village with stunning views, we are sure you will love these cottages as much as we do.
Being close to the beach and also some idyllic coastal walks, all our cottages fall into the category of doggy heaven and your canine friends are welcome.
We can provide travel cots, high chairs, stairgates and a selection of toys in each of the cottages for those with young families.
The North East of Scotland and the Scottish Highlands were popularised as a tourist destination when Queen Victoria bought Balmoral Castle in 1848. It is easy to understand why, with the wide open spaces, the 'big' sky, rugged mountains and tranquil glens. Home to many of Scotland's most famous whiskies and the Cairngorms National Park, there are many opportunities for outdoor pursuits, including walking, fishing and mountain biking. There are also plenty of award winning golf courses to enjoy. The coastline of the Moray Firth is also stunning, with its mix of cliffs and coves and wide beaches with the whitest of sands and pretty fishing villages and harbours. Whether you want to take advantage of the many activities on offer or relax and unwind, this area will have something for you! And the coastal area has its own microclimate, giving it more sunshine hours than you might expect.
