Introduction
If it's SAILING, it's MIRAMAR.
Miramar Sailing of Antigua offer possibly the most comprehensive range of sailing activities in the Caribbean. From Day Charters, through Sailing Vacations, to an RYA Recognised Training Centre plus several others as detailed below.
ANTIGUA DAY SAILING
Miramar Sailing has been offering a range of Day Sailing options from our Jolly Harbour base since 2006. With our local Antiguan crew, Captain Kevin and Tyler to navigate you through our beautiful calm blue waters, and the colourful history of our island, you will enjoy what will probably be the highlight of your holiday. We promise to "Make Your Day Special".
CARIBBEAN SAILING HOLIDAYS
Located in the heart of the Caribbean Island Chain, Antigua is the ideal starting point for a memorable sailing holiday visiting many of the diverse islands to the north & south. On a Miramar Sailing fully crewed charter you will enjoy fantastic sailing, breathtaking scenery, colourful cultures, and above all, total relaxation as you just kick back and take it all in.
RYA SAILING SCHOOL ANTIGUA
The RYA Sail Training & Yachtmaster scheme is globally recognised as the "gold standard". The scheme caters for both aspiring leisure, and professional career sailors alike. At each level it teaches all the skills required to crew or skipper a yacht in whatever sailing situation aspire to. From the basic Day Skipper qualification, as an entry level to the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) required for Bareboat Charter, to the advanced Yachtmaster Ocean for global circumnavigation, the scheme has the right package of courses for all.
TEAM BUILDING
A sailing yacht at sea is one of the best environments for promoting team work, communication, social interaction, trust and co-operation. The phrase "we're all in the same boat" has never been more appropriate. Applicable to both the Corporate and Education sectors, a Team Building cruise can be tailored to suit your specific needs.
OWN YACHT TUITION
When it comes to yachts and sailing, no one will ever know it all, not even Miramar Sailing! However, our team of sailing professionals offer their high level of experience to new, and aspiring, yacht owners to develop their sailing and maintenance skills. RYA Sail Training Courses on "own yachts" are also available.
YACHT DELIVERY
For many sailors an ocean passage is the pinnacle of their sailing ambitions. However, time is often limited and one way trips are common place. Our team of RYA Ocean Yachtmasters and qualified Cruising Instructors are available to deliver yachts to next seasons Caribbean destination, or a yacht shipping port of your choice.
EVENT ORGANISATION
Caribbean parties are legendary! Opportunities for "fun in the sun" abound. At Miramar Sailing we specialise in group events both on the water and ashore. Regattas, incentive and reward programmes, celebration parties, to name a few, are a great way to bring people together in a fantastic and relaxed social environment.
ACCOMMODATION OFFERS
As an additional service to our valued customers, we have negotiated significant discounts on published accommodation rates in the Jolly Harbour Marina Village area. Whether your preference is Sugar Ridge, a superb boutique hotel, or a private waterfront villa, your booking with Miramar Sailing paves the way to a lower cost holiday.
