Introduction
Mio Restaurant & Bar was opened in March 2008 to bring to Clonakilty great food with the emphasis on local produce in a stylish yet casual setting, value for money and accesible wine lists.
Mio Restaurant & Bar is suituated upstairs on Connolly St in the heart of Clonakilty.
Light & airy, it is simply Styled with wooden beams and chairs, contempary table settings and exposed brick walls. In many ways it resembles a New York City loft that you could easily imagine the girls from Sex & the City enjoying a glass of wine here.
The Food is simply styled and not just Italian. Although has a wide selection of Pizza's & Pasta's, Mio also specialises in Steak's , home made Burgers, a fabolous Mixed Grill and Fresh fish. Food & Wine magazine describes it as "Seriously competant cooking in a groovy fun Space".
Mio is an Ideal family & Party Venue far all occasions catering for up to 60 persons in a private setting.
Bookings are advisable for tables of 6 or more on 023-8858571 or info@mio.ie. We also have a very welcoming walk in policy and should we not have a table available for you immediately we cater for your needs at our fully licenced bar.
