Antoine M. Adem, M.D., F.A.C.C. completed his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Missouri in Columbia in 2002 and was Chief Fellow at the Department of Cardiology in 2001. For three years he was a Clinical Instructor of Advanced Physical Diagnosis at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He then served as Director in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Jefferson Memorial Hospital from March 2003 to December 2004 and Medical Director at Premier Heart and Vascular Specialists from July 2004 to June 2005. He graduated from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon in 1995 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri in 1999.
Dr. Adem is board certified by the American Board of Cardiology, American Board of Vascular Medicine, American Society of Hypertension, North American Society for Pacing and Electrophysiology, Certification Boards of Nuclear Cardiology, and American Board of Internal Medicine. His research has been published in the American College of Cardiology as well as the Journal of American Heart Association. He has maintained ongoing research in the field of Cardiology as well as received numerous awards for his work including the Quality Service Award from the University Hospital and Clinics at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
Andre P. Bouhasin, M.D. completed his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2008 and served as Chief Fellow in the Department of Cardiology from July 2007 to June 2008. He graduated from St. Louis University Medical School in 2001 and completed his residency at St. Louis University Hospital in Internal Medicine in 2004.
Dr. Bouhasin is board certified in Vascular Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology. His studies in Cardiology have been published in the Journal of Invasive Cardiology and Journal of Interventional Cardiology. In the past, he has been involved with research regarding Hemophilia through Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri as well as ongoing research with stent procedures and angioplasties.
Dr. Guzon joined the Midwest Cardiovascular in 2012 after practicing in New Jersey for 4 years. His medical training has taken him from the University of Missouri – Kansas City to Saint Louis University and then to the University of Missouri – Columbia. His experiences from growing up in rural Missouri towns like Potosi and Flat River as well as the inner-city life of the likes of St Louis and even Harlem, New York City, helped him develop into a physician who understands and respects people from various backgrounds, value and belief systems. He prides himself on being the type of doctor who takes the time to sit down with his patients, honestly and openly discuss their needs and involve them in their own medical care.
Dr. Guzon is a board certified internist and cardiovascular specialist who is proficient in heart catheterization, angiography, echocardiography, stress testing and pacemaker implantation. He has offices in Festus, Potosi, Bonne Terre, Farmington, and St. Louis.
