Introduction
All the sushi we ordered was quite good, and the portions of non-sushi entrees is extremely generous. The staff is all very friendly, and the inside of the restaurant is actually quite nice. Definitely recommended if you live north and are craving a good sushi fix. The presentation of the sushi is absolutely beautiful! They adorn the dishes so well and are very accommodating with what you want/don't want in your rolls. The service is pretty fast, even on a crowded Saturday evening. he edamame was very good. the soy sauce was very salty. the iced tea was fine. The sushi itself was very good. The waitresses were very helpful. The sake was good but expensive.
Given its location, expect lots of lunch traffic, especially considering the bargain specials. A nice array of entrée choices are available for dinner and takeout.
One of the best Sushi places in Austin (rolls and sashimi). Their food quality (and portions) beat out places like Musashino. Some sushi places might have one really good roll, but Midori has several. If you are looking for an affordable sushi restaurant with generous portions and flavorful rolls, you must try Midori! (It is also good for Sushi beginners since their menu has photos of everything)
Awesome service, friendly staff, excellent food. I was not a big fan of sushi until I came here. The sushi is very fresh and rolls are a good size. The Midori Boca Raton, Phoenix, and Spicy Crunch rolls are great for getting a non-sushi person hooked on it.
