Introduction
Metropolitan movers Newmarket is a consumer choice award winning company as well as an approved vendor by the Canadian Government. Our professional piano movers know how heavy a piano can be, an upright piano can be anywhere between 400 - 900 pounds while the grand piano may be as heavy as 1300 pounds. The right equipment is a necessity and the right number of movers is a must. We strongly recommend that you provide us with all the information possible regarding your piano, things such as its type, size, weight and age, where is it located now (which floor in your home) and which room in the new house it should be in, whether the piano should be moved using stairs and how many.
