Introduction
Hot rolling of sheet involves the process of heating the steel and molding it in high temperatures over 1700 degree Fahrenheit, which is much more than the temperature in which steel recrystallizes. Since this process speaks of a higher temperature, that is why, it becomes easy for the steel to get molded, thereby, giving it various shapes. Hot rolled sheets are comparatively cheaper than cold ones because of the fact that its manufacturing is much faster than the latter. Its fast manufacturing does not required it to be reheated. As the sheet gets cold, it will obviously shrink a bit but does not affect much on the finished product
