Medical Electives Abroad was created by Doctor Steph Clarke and Joe Page to offer medical students the chance to take their elective in the Caribbean.
Our electives are in St Vincent, a beautiful island chain in the Eastern Caribbean. Our electives look to support local foundations, hospitals and clinics, with an emphasis on making your elective make a real difference.
Medical Electives Abroad will take care of everything. We source your accommodation, ensuring it suits your needs and is safe and secure. We have contacts with the local hospitals and clinics to remove the stress of trying to arrange your placements yourself. We also support a local medical foundation on the island and donate a percentage of your elective payment to them. We will ensure you have 24hr support, and can help arrange social activities and trips.
Doctor Clarke took her elective in St Vincent and loved it. On her return she wished to help other people visit and explore this amazing area of the Caribbean, that is so often overlooked.
Joe has been working in the Caribbean for the past 5 years helping to develop sport in local schools and communities. He met Steph on her elective and they have teamed up to make Medical Electives Abroad a reality.
