McAlister-Smith Pet Cremation

The staff at McAlister-Smith Pet Cremation knows that life is precious, including 4-legged family members living in your home. Pets bring happiness, joy, and love to the home, which is why it can be devastating to lose this vital part of the family. In the same way that families honor the memories of a spouse, parent, or sibling, it is also healing to prepare funeral services for a pet. As part of McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation Services, the team offers multiple funeral homes in Low Country, serving the needs of families throughout the year. Since 1886, this family business has provided personalized support when families need it the most.

One of the benefits of choosing McAlister-Smith Pet Cremation is that the services encompass much more than basic cremation. The professional team offers the highest levels of compassion to help families with services and care. Full-service funeral and cremation options include pet burials, pet cremations, transportation, and memorial services. Unique memorial tributes give families a memorable way to show their love. Not only does the experienced funeral planning team take care of the pet remains, but they provide care for the entire family.

Several cremation options are offered. Private cremation is an individual service, with the opportunity for the family to be present in a private room at the start of the service. Partitioned cremation means that the service happens in conjunction with the cremation of other pets – all of them uniquely identified separated with fire bricks to ensure the ashes of your pet come home. The third option is communal cremation, with the ashes remaining with McAlister-Smith for a communal burial near the pond at the West Ashley location.

Additionally, consider permanent pet memorialization. A variety of pet merchandise is offered through the funeral home, such as pawprint jewelry, pet cremation jewelry, pet caskets, and pet urns. McAlister-Smith Pet Cremation is just a phone call away if you need services for cremation, burial, memorialization, and more. These services are offered in all surrounding communities, including Mount Pleasant, James Island, West Ashley, Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, and North Charleston.
