Introduction
Markson Pianos is a third generation family business, founded in 1910 by Louis Markson, a piano tuner and repairer with a reputation for exacting standards. He was joined by his two sons, Keith and Maurice soon after WWII and they opened branches in NW and SE London. They not only continued with the restoration of pianos for department stores but also for private homes and institutions as well as introducing a pioneering piano hire scheme in the 1960’s.

Not only are we piano specialists, but also interact with the wider musical community, supporting and promoting concerts and events including PianoDay London, Masterclasses and our very own concert series.
