The origin of our name....
This refer to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after Epiphany and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi gras is French for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.

Situated in Broadbeach, we are a 3 storey walk up with 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, pool, spa, and BBQ area. The Mardi Gras Resort accommodation located at the heart of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, surpasses your every need - from family holidays to romantic escapes and business travellers.
