Introduction
Maramures Guesthouse is located in the village of Hoteni, placed in Maramures County, Transylvania, Romania. It belongs to the administration of Ocna Sugatag, a city with documentary attestation in the year 1355, and the other cities (Breb, Hoteni, Sugatag-village) in 1360, their history being very tightly related to salt exploitation.
Situated in a charming area, loaded with tradition, at a reasonable price, Maramures Guesthouse offers the possibility to try the traditional food, to learn about the popular costumes, the areas that can be visited, about the specific music of the area and to socialize with the kind, generous and hard-working locals.
The facilities of the Guesthouse include 7 rooms for hosting that have a bathroom of their own, with a matrimonial bed or with 3 beds, a TV set in each room and connection to the Internet. Plus, a adjacent building with 2 more rooms/bathroom can be occupied. It has a terrace, a kitchen, minibar, barbeque, swings, a gazebo, a very big garden, camping space, a playground for the children, parking lot.
The traditional food we offer: homemade bread, tuica and other meals.
The touristic objectives are represented by the Ocna Sugatag Resort and other sites.
