Introduction
We started MANOTSAV with a vision to make the community in general and public education system in specific conducive to the mental health needs of children and adolescents. Additionally, given a dearth of trained mental health professionals and specialist services for this population, it felt imperative to start a service that provided clinical care and offered public health measures to promote children’s socio-emotional development, prevent mental health issues and address the current challenges in this sector.
