Mankind Quarterly

Mankind Quarterly, first published in 1960, is a peer-reviewed academic quarterly. As a journal devoted to the interdisciplinary study of man, it publishes incisive and in-depth papers from leading scholars across several academic disciplines, including social and physical anthropology, evolutionary psychology, behavior genetics, and mythology. SCIMAGO (year 2009) rates Mankind Quarterly 27th out of 86 journals of Anthropology based on frequency articles are cited in refereed journals.
Each issue features exclusive papers on human behavior, which include human evolution, intelligence, personality, ethnography, and demography including book reviews of recent publications in the behavioral and social sciences. The founders of The Mankind Quarterly included some of the most renowned scholars of their time in the field of anthropology and related disciplines. In the course of its 53-year existence its editorial board has included distinguished scholars such as: Sir Charles B. Darwin, Henri, V. Vallois, R. Ruggles Gates, Luigi Gedda, Corrado Gini, Raymond B. Cattell, Henry E. Garrett, S. D. Porteus, Charles C. Josey, and Joseph Campbell.
