We are a Family run business who specialise in Upcycled, Restyled, Preloved Sustainable Furniture and all of our work is inspired by a mix of "Country farmhouse" and "Vintage French” painted furniture .We only ever use the best quality materials and paints such as Annie Sloan and Farrow & Ball which are designed for furniture and are Low in VOC content making them very environmentally friendly !!! We have an ever changing range of stock and are very particular when sourcing the perfect pre-loved items to restore . . We use a set process from start to finish in the “Upcycling” of our pieces. All pieces have handles / hinges etc removed prior to the process beginning, then all items are washed, sanded down and prepared then given at least 3 coats of paint, the paintwork is then lightly sanded down again (and sometimes lightly distressed). Tabletops / worktops are stripped and sanded to remove any marks / Patina etc and sometimes stained a suitable colour and finally the whole piece is given 3 coats of Annie Sloan Clear wax for protection and to enhance its charm , style and character.
As with all Upcycled pieces of furniture they have had a life before and as such they can sometimes have minor imperfections, ie: small blemishes, “dings” or brush marks, but this just adds to the charm and character of the piece, if you prefer your items to have a perfect “factory finish” then our items may not be for you.
