Introduction
The family, decided to make their mom's dream a reality by establishing a restaurant in their childhood (and current) neighborhood on Irving Park. While Ed covers the logistics of the restaurant, you can find Doris cooking and working in the restaurant day in and day out. Growing up in Chicago, Ed and Doris were inspired to come up with their own ideas and add a Chicagoan twist to their mother's traditional Colombian recipes — this is where the arepa sandwiches and much of the menu was created.
