'Lula' is cousins Angela Heywood & Lucy Norman, hence the name - Lu from Lucy & La from Angela! We opened in October 2008 and haven't looked back since. Our concept was to serve high quality food in a new dining room that was elegant, inviting and chic whilst remaining friendly and accessible. We like to think our food is the same, everything is cooked to order from the freshest local ingredients (apart from those that just don't grow in Dorset!) and embraces varying influences; you are as likely to enjoy a local, line-caught whole fish cooked simply, as you are a Moroccan style Tagine. We always put our heart and soul into making your dining experience the very best and that's why you'll always find one of the owners on the premises ' no managers, just a small group of staff who care as much as we do.
