Introduction
I'm Luke Wood, a maths teacher, tutor and examiner based in Southampton. I tutor young people up to GCSE level mathematics. I’ve been tutoring and coaching students in Chandlers Ford for their Mathematics GCSE since 2007 when I noticed how my brother was struggling. After he exceeded his predicted C-grade to achieve an A-grade in 2008, I decided to become a maths teacher and I’ve never looked back. Since then I've helped students of all abilities from Year 5 to Year 11 in a wider area including Southampton and Winchester.
