Love Lovejoys! Great variety of tap beers. Like two walls of tap beers. They also have a full bar and maybe infused vodka.
At first glance, this looks like a rough and tumble establishment. Inked up crowds with punk on the juke...once you get past the gruff exterior, you discover one of Austin's greatest bars. The staff is probably the friendliest around. The beer selection is phenomenal. Some of the best house crafted brews in town, infused liquors, awesome jukebox...seriously, what more could you ask for?!
They serve locally made craft brews (512) as well as their own house brews. One of the best parts about Lovejoy's are their two dollar pints on Thursdays. (featuring some of the best homebrew in town)The most important thing to know is that Lovejoy's is one of those places that proudly flaunts the indoor smoking ban. If you miss leaving a bar smelling like an ashtray, you can relive your nicotine-stained past here.
