Introduction
The London Ophthalmology Centre provides consultations with specialist, experienced surgeons who have the expertise and knowledge you would expect from a centre of excellence. We only work with fully qualified consultants, who also hold substantive NHS lead positions, so you know you are in safe hands!
All of our surgeons hold Fellowships FRCOphth with the Royal college of Ophthalmologists (not just membership MRCOphth), and are fully accredited specialists with the UK General Medical Council, with registration on the specialist register (not just the GMC general register).
All our consultants are sub-specialty, fellowship trained, and are fully recognised by ALL good insurance companies. To cut costs AXA-PPP have recently imposed restrictions on their patients and do not recognise some surgeons, so please check with your policy first.
