London Box Sash Windows Ltd is a south-west London based manufacturer of bespoke timber sash windows and doors.
We combine expert design techniques with high end materials to produce beautiful, long lasting products every time.
95% of the timber that we use is sustainably-sourced Accoya wood, developed to match the best tropical hardwoods available in terms of reliability and overall quality.
Our story starts more than 30 years ago when John McLeod Ellis decided to take his passion for craftsmanship and joinery and create a business based on offering the highest level of quality and service. Growing from a one-man business John steered his love of working with is hands to create London’s leading premium timber window and door company.
Having grown up in London, John really appreciated the tradition and architectural history the city had to offer. That’s why we have always designed a conservation grade product range which is extremely high performing, while staying true to all the period mouldings and sight lines that make period architecture so special.
John has passed down his passion, strengths and skills to his team over the years, including his two sons, Patrick and Jack who now run the day-to-day operations of the business. The success has largely been down to this highly skilled team who have helped to maintain and improve on what John started.
For over three decades, our window workmanship has spoken for itself and withstood every inspection going. More than 85% of our work is generated by word of mouth and existing customers. From our experience, we know that what we do best is delivering high levels of quality and service to our customers.
