On arrival, meet and greet by your friendly Tour Guide, then drive to Serengeti National Park which is one of the world famous and Africa’s premier game park. Enroute, we make a stop at the archeological site of Olduvai Gorge commonly referred to as “The Cradle of Mankind’ famed for the discovery of the 3.5 million year old fossil fragments of the early human civilization. The Serengeti is the jewel of Tanzania’s protected area together with Kenya’s Masai Mara protects the most varied and greatest collection of wildlife on earth and offers the most spectacular African Safari. It is an unforgettable experience for those who has ever been here during the height of the great wildlife migration where an endless cacophony of grunting wildebeest, barking zebra, and the squeals of baby wildebeest being born and being hunted down by the ever-present predators. The Serengeti annual wildlife migration is a fickle thing and totally dependent on rainfall patterns hence grass growth and simply impossible to predict. In a perfect world, the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle start migrating west and north in search of sweeter grazing from May through to July, moving and arriving in Kenya’s Masai Mara by late July through to early September. By October or November they are drifting back south and spend the long rainy season in the Serengeti grasslands. The natural phenomenon is sometimes called the “Circular Migration.
