Introduction
Lightwater Quarries Ltd is a privately owned quarrying company who supply the Harrogate, Northallerton, Thirsk, Catterick, York, Harrogate & Easingwold areas from our two limestone quarries in Ripon and Masham.
We pride ourselves on customer service as we are a small but dedicated team.
We can supply washed clean sizes from 5mm to 40mm, gabion stone, dry screened blinding, clean sizes up to 125mm, crusher runs, washed limestone grit sand and adoptable MOT type 1.
We supply local builders, readymix companies, aggregate merchants and domestic jobs (driveways & decorative). We can also supply pathmix which is a graded aggregate from 5mm or 10mm down to dust which self-bids when laid and compressed down to make pathways similar to those seen at stately homes and heritage buildings. While it needs to be laid with care the finished look of the product really is impressive.
