Dar Les Cigognes

With its privileged position facing the gates of the Royal Palace, Dar Les Cigognes was once the home of a wealthy spice merchant and dates back to the 1600’s. Dar Les Cigognes is comprised of two adjoining riads with large central courtyards centred around trees and fountains. All rooms face into the courtyard as is traditional in riad-style houses—a design ideally suited to the climate. With metre thick walls and in-room AC/heat, guests have total control over their environment.

There are several open air sitting areas throughout the hotel, a library with a wide range of art books and novels, salon and living room, dining room, and extensive roof gardens. There is also a traditional Moroccan hammam as well as a full-service spa offering everything from massage to waxing, facials to manicure and pedicure, or even henna tattoo.

The hotel offers guests complimentary wi-fi throughout. There is a restaurant offering a daily-changing menu of modern interpretations of classic Moroccan dishes. Afternoon tea is complimentary. A full service bar is available in the evenings. On certain nights special meals are prepared offering a broader selection, and live traditional music accompanies.

There is a concierge on duty from 8 am to 8 pm daily, chauffeur can be provided, and the hotel staff are able to organise and plan a wide range of activities, including daily cooking classes.
