Introduction
Lee Allen is an experienced Person Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist , with over sixteen years in private practice.He see adults, couples and young people from the age of sixteen.Some of the issues he works with include abuse, bereavement , depression , anxiety , stress , relationship difficulties , work related issues and low self esteem. Being a male counsellor he see a lot men who feel more comfortable working with a man , whilst some women specifically choose to see him because of the services he offers and that they my wish to work with a man rather than a female counsellor .
He has a vast amount of experience of working with people who are anxious and or depressed,and is able not only to help someone feel less anxious and or depressed , yet he works directly with where those feelings originate, meaning someone can live freely without being encumbered by their feelings.
Having worked in family mediation and specifically trained to be a Couple Counsellor , he works with a lot of couples who apppreciate his balanced and compassion and balanced approach to their relationship issues .
He is a Registered Counsellor ,he is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy , and is listed on their register for Counsellors and Psychotherapists .He abides by their ethical framework and meets their criteria for registration .
