Lady Painter

My name is Anita, my love of painting began when I was fortunate enough to be part of the team who worked on the restoration work of St. George's Round Church in Halifax built-in 1800 (the second oldest Church in Nova Scotia). St George’s Round Church suffered a devastating fire in 1994. I was involved in the restoration of the Pews.

Returning to Dartmouth after many years of absence and wanting to continue with community work, I decided to join my 2 loves together and so ladypainter.ca began, and included in this our non-profit “Paint It Forward” program.
