William started his career in the funeral business more than 15 years ago as a driver for his local funeral service. He rapidly expanded on his career in the funeral industry and became a trainee funeral director in which he built his reputation in the local community. William then carried on working for the same funeral service for a further 7 years as a funeral director before leaving to become a funeral services trainer for Learndirect, training the co-op funeral care staff. William made the decision to open his own funeral home to offer a unique and personal service to the local community.

Our Heritage
William grew up with a family of Joiners knowing from an early age that his passion in life was to be a Funeral Director.

Williams grandparents Bill and Kathleen Mason had moved to the area from Bolton and had been in business for many years before, setting up another business (Tudor Horse Clothing) in the Rossendale Valley manufactoring horse clothing and trading in horse tack. It was Williams ambition to have his own business and serve the local people.
