Introduction
La Barbe is the only truly French restaurant in Reigate, Surrey. Established over 30 years ago, with its Gallic atmosphere La Barbe serves a fine selection of classical Modern French cuisine with a modern twist.
Our Head Romain Havard creates an exciting new menu every season so that you can enjoy the variety of freshly prepared dishes including vegetarian from local sources. Our restaurant wine list offers French wines from the different wine regions but also some new world wines.
The ambience is informally elegant and French through and through, from the genuinely friendly staff to the decor and most, importantly, the delicious food. The menu is inspired by the seasons and changes accordingly. The emphasis is on freshness, flavour and fabulous presentation. La Barbe is a great place to enjoy Sunday lunch followed by a stroll around Priory Park, a lovely venue just opposite the restaurant.

Romain Havard
Head Chef
Romain Havard, 26, was born, bred and trained in Normandy. After 6 years spent at the Lycée Hotelier Maurice Marland learning the ropes, he worked in different Michelin restaurants around Normandy and Brittany to gain practical experience before moving to the UK.
