Konditor & Cook, a double act of pastry chef & cook or sweet & savoury food is the brainchild of German born 'Konditormeister', Gerhard Jenne.
Gerhard has a passion for baking and cake decorating. He invented Konditor & Cook's trademark Magic Cakes, as well as the Konditor Wedding Cone.
His book 'Wacky Cakes & Kooky Cookies' features the contemporary approach to cake-decorating that Konditor & Cook is celebrated for.
Originally trained in Munich as a pastry chef (or 'Konditor') and in London as a 'cook', Gerhard and his team have grown Konditor & Cook to six sites in central London.
Each location has its own unique atmosphere and architectural character, but all provide consistently good food using high quality & fresh ingredients.
Every day and in every way Konditor & Cook strives to exceed customer expectations.
A team of on-site chefs produce a changing daily menu of seasonally influenced hot & cold savouries. Most of the food is produced 'sur place', that's to say direct from the kitchen to the customer. All dishes are available to take-out and to eat-in, where seating is available.
