Tax Manager Angela has worked in accountancy for the duration of her 28-year career. Fifteen of those have been spent diligently employing her vast experience at Kirkwood Wilson, following stints at firms in Ormskirk and Liverpool previously. Angela injects her unsurpassable brand of logic and organisational skills into the complex tax matters of limited companies, sole traders and personal clients. Her particular specialism is tax planning covering the broad spectrum from business tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, through to filing personal tax returns each financial year.

Our visionary Managing Director, Caroline brings more than 35 years’ worth of accounting experience to the table and makes sure the firm is kept at the cutting edge of current practice. Having steered the business through several incarnations, and just as many financial climates, Caroline applies the same solid principles to her own business as she extols to clients.

Daniel joined the family business 11 years ago and is now a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, having worked through four years (and 15 exams!) to claim his ACA accreditation. Daniel prides himself on building lasting and meaningful relationships by truly getting to know their businesses. His speciality is tailored management accounts and creating bespoke IT solutions. He is an expert in Sage software and can install complete systems, provide in-depth training and give ongoing technical support as well as construct integrated spreadsheet reports

Accounts Manager, Evelyn is our resident compliance expert. Over her distinguished 28-year career in accountancy – 18 of which have been spent here at Kirkwood Wilson – she has developed an encyclopaedic knowledge of complex legislative procedures and intricate financial matters, such as money laundering regulations. Evelyn also takes a strong lead in nurturing the practical and theoretical development of our student interns who we proudly progress through our rewarding training scheme
