Kirk Funeral Home & Cremation Services

Kirk Funeral Home & Cremation Services aims to provide a loving and beautiful environment where you can feel safe and comforted while saying goodbye to your loved one. The staff gives you all the respect and dignity you deserve during this challenging time. Their Chapel of Life includes a mix of openness and warmth that families love. From the moment you walk in the door, you will know you made the right decision. Along with funeral services, the funeral home can accommodate reception services or a luncheon on-site. In addition, the licensed funeral directors are dedicated to serving families of fallen military officials, ready to honor their life of service to the country.

Kirk Funeral Home & Cremation Services can get you started on pre-planning funeral services to make plans for the funeral of your loved one or your own that may be decades away. Take the time to plan for cremation or burial, caskets or urns, visitations, graveside services, and more. Then, when you choose pre-planning, you can ask your loved one for their input on their own end-of-life services. And you do not have to worry about planning once the death occurs, allowing yourself time to grieve and focus on spending time with family. In addition, cremation services are available for low-cost cremations called direct cremations. Or you can plan a cremation with a memorial ceremony.

If traditional funeral services are not for you, look into life celebrations. Throw a party for your loved one that includes their favorite foods, music, and sports teams. You can lighten the mood by focusing on your good memories with your loved one and how they would want to be remembered. As you plan, let the team take care of military honors and veteran services. And consider traditions like playing of Taps and burial with the flag.

Kirk Funeral Home & Cremation Services is ready to serve families from Rapid City, Sturgis, and Deadwood. The self-owned crematory offers peace of mind so that you do not have to worry about the deceased being transferred into a third-party facility. Casket rentals are also an option if you want a funeral followed by a cremation.

Kirk Funeral Home & Cremation Services is located at 1051 E Minnesota St Rapid City, SD 57701. You can call (605) 343-4808 to speak with a trusted member of the team.
