Introduction
Kids Learning for Success LLC publishes and distributes "El camino al éxito", a research-based Kindergarten curriculum designed to provide early intervention to children learning to read in Spanish. El camino was created in the Tigard-Tualatin School district in Oregon. It has been used in Oregon schools since 2006 for Response to Intervention (RTI) programming for early Spanish Literacy and Dual Language Immersion. The curriculum is a 30-minute program that includes 118-daily lesson plans. It is easy to use, with explicit teaching routines and fun and engaging activities. Backed up with 9 years of success, the program has also proven to be highly effective in increasing the number of students meeting benchmark reading levels. The curriculum includes everything needed to teach throughout the year, including comprehensive worksheets and materials for activities and games.
