Retractable Key reels are an ideal solution for operators having to log onto cash registers/tills to process transactions. The key reel is attached to their clothing and they can attach the cash till key/fob to the end of the key reel so that the log on device is always available. The operator extracts the key/fob, which is attached to a retractable cord, utilises it at the till, and once the transaction is completed it will retract back into the key reel ready for the next transaction.
We have seen in the past that bar managers have struggled with the ordering of key reels to suit all of their staff. This is because there are two distinctly different types of key reel, one has a metal spring clip, which is used to attach the reel to clothing, via friction i.e. it clips to and pinches the fabric or the clothing. The other utilises a carabiner snap hook which attaches to belt loops on trousers etc. Previously managers have had to order either one or the other or several of each type.
We at KeyReels have recognised this issue and have introduced a reel which has both a carabiner snap hook and a spring clip. Additionally, if attached via the spring clip, the reel will swivel through 3600 making it easy to pull from all directions. The key reel is available with many different key/fob attachment devices, such as split rings, swivel clips, badge straps, crocodile clips, detachable loops and snap hooks thus making this key reel the most versatile on the market.
