The principal dentist Dr. Andrew Stevenson, after 10 years of working in private practice in central London, has joined forces with Oral Surgeon Dr. Chang I Chun Teoh, an implant specialist with 15 years of experience in the field.
We are happy to welcome Dr. Fabrizio Rapisarda as our Oral Surgeon. He will be of invaluable help for all those delicate molar extractions. And Dr. Philippa Rudge who has joined our team at the beginning of 2014. She is a specialist orthodontist, with a particular interest in invisible braces.
A full dental examination at our first meeting will give us the base to discuss how we should proceed with your dental needs. A whole range of procedures from preventative care, including dental hygiene and fissure sealants, to restorative work such as fillings, root canal treatments, crowns, bridges, inlays and dental implants. Also cosmetic procedures such as tooth whitening and veneers are available.
Our family practice is conveniently located on Kew Road, between Richmond and Kew, 5 minutes from Richmond Station (British Rail and Underground), 2 minutes from the bus stop ‘Evelyn Road’ on bus route 65. Also metered parking is available on neighbouring streets.
We have made sure that, irrespective of your working hours, you will be able to visit us. We stay open until 7pm on Mondays and Wednesdays with Saturday appointments also available from 10am to 2pm.

Andrew Stevenson
Principle dentist
Andrew is the Principal Dentist at Kew Road Dental. He qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1998. He worked between the UK and Australia before settling in London in 2000 and has worked in a private practice here for more than 10 years. He has enjoyed working at practices in Knightsbridge, the Harley Street area and the City of London and has a special interest in endodontics and cosmetic procedures as well as restoration of implants.
He continues to enhance and share his clinical skills through a program of ongoing professional development, both in the UK and Dubai, and always attempts to use an evidence based approach to achieve the best possible result.

We are very lucky to have Dr. Teoh working at the practice. He qualified from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 1989. He recieved his post graduate training in implant surgery at The Turner Dental School in Manchester and obtained Master of Science in Implantology in 1994. Since then he has been actively in implant dentistry both in the UK and overseas. He also obtained Master in Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics (a special branch of dentistry that involves the use of prosthesis to replace missing teeth) from the Kings College, London in 2005. Dr. Teoh has over 15 years of experience in implant dentistry.
Fabrizio Rapisarda
Oral surgeon
Dr. Rapisarda was born in Rome, Italy, and graduated from Rome University La Sapienza in 1994 where he concentrated on periodontology and periodontal surgery. He then specialised in Oral surgery in Florence. He focused on difficult extraction procedures, apicectomies and grafting techniques. He practiced in the Oral and Maxillo Facial department of the Orthopaedic Traumatic Centre (CTO) Hospital, treating seriously injured patients. He ran his own practice for 8 years in parallel.
He moved to England in 2004, and initially worked in hospital as an oral surgeon, removing deeply impacted wisdom teeth under general anaesthesia. At Kew Road Dental Fabrizio performs all our wisdom tooth extractions and difficult surgical cases. He has very gentle hands and is someone who can make the patient experience for an oral surgery procedure as pleasant as possible.

Philippa Rudge
Orthodontist
Philippa graduated from the University of Bristol in 2006. In 2012 she completed 3 years of Orthodontic specialist training at Guy’s Hospital, London and RACH, Brighton, gaining a MSc in Orthodontics from KCL and Membership in Orthodontics from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2013 Philippa was awarded a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, a teaching qualification for tertiary education, from KCL.
Philippa is registered as a Specialist in Orthodontics with the General Dental Council. She is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and The Royal College of Surgeons England and Edinburgh.

Viktorija is our friendly receptionist. She joined the team in June 2014 and does her best to ensure our patients feel welcome and the practice runs smoothly. She is also a qualified dental technician.
