Kara is a new UK supplier specialising in premium textile products and medical uniforms to service the growing Health and Wellness sector. We focus on bringing products to the UK market that are not only made from high quality materials and highly functional, but that also bring elements of fashion, comfort & technology to our customers. Our first goal is to tackle healthcare uniforms, which for too long have been boxy, unattractive and ill-fitting. We feel we have picked the perfect partner in USA-based Wonderwink to bring these products to our UK customers.

We are a new venture of John Horsfall & Sons, a family run textile company founded in 1863. Now in its sixth generation, the core business manufactures travel textiles, with a focus on cabin products for the world’s largest international airlines. However, this is not the company’s first involvement in the world of healthcare, having supplied blankets to hospitals for many decades and establishing Interweave Textiles, a supplier of contract textiles to the healthcare market in 1999. With this background, Kara has the history and experience to be a trusted, reliable supplier for our customers.
