KWIK CHIP has been involved in the auto refinish industry for many years and during this time we have noted and adapted to the many changes in paint technology and its application.
Over the last decade we have seen the industry really come to life with disciplines covered under the SMART Repair banner all of which have their own niche and target market. However, due to the heavy growth in competition in all sectors, prices have been on the slide with many operators reporting profits falling by as much as 50% for the same work volume.
To counter this KWIK CHIP has been working tirelessly with PDR Paintless Dent Removal Technicians, Car Detailers, Windscreen Repair Engineers and SMART Paint Repairers to offer additional “bolt-on†services to reverse this downward trend in margins.
With repairs taking typically 5 minutes our current range of KWIK TOUCH Scratch & Stone Chip Repair kits offer a quick and easy way to increase bottom line performance. In many cases our kits can be used to add value during wasted down time when waiting for one of your other process to finish.
Our kits are compact and easy to carry around and are supplied in either a fully fitted case as in the Standard Kit or alternatively our Lite Kit packed into a cardboard shipping box for you to incorporate into your own repair system. Each kit can be fully “branded†to your particular operation all we need is a logo and contact details to fully personalise all aspect of the kits from labels to swatches…..all for no additional cost.
Many different types of repair can be carried out successfully, whether a vandal scratch, bumper scuff, stone chip (rock chip) or rust spot. Commonly known as sprayless scratch repair, the paint is simply rubbed into the pre-cleaned damage area and then the excess paint removed by hand or polishing machine using either a Compound & Polish Solution or the Paint Leveller & Remover.
