Introduction
My work explores the themes of overlooked beauty, innocence, decay, imperfection, sublimated sexuality, impermanence, mystery, and horror- all inspired by the time period that spans the lost generation to the death of disco.
My inspirations are: medieval manuscripts, fairy tales, mythology, science fiction, japanese prints, middleclass girls, shy people, beards, pale suits, maladjustment, sea creatures, the supernatural, freckles, and ktla channel 5 on sundays when I was a kid.
My art is all hand drawn in pencil and then either painted with watercolor or digitally colored.
