Jessica’s designs begin as illustrations in black pen on paper before they are digitally scanned and enhanced with striking colour schemes. Her final products are produced using both digital and hand printed methods making for a varied range. Jessica’s entire collection of prints and products are designed and manufactured in the UK, an industry she is keen to continue supporting.
Passionate about her subject matter, Jessica spends a great deal of time gathering primary research for her work and taking regular sketching trips across the UK and Europe to gather inspiration. Paris, in particular, is a place Jessica continues to draw inspiration from. Such in-depth investigations result in a highly personal body of work.
Her refined use of colour combined with playful illustrations make for a collection of quirky yet sophisticated designs. The prints and patterns typically depict images of daily life, places Jessica has visited or feature strong influences from Robin Hoods Bay and the Yorkshire coast.
As well as designing for her own label, Jessica works on collaborations and commissions for a variety of companies and individuals to produce a wide range of print and product designs.
